Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru Les Narbantons reds have an intense colour which is more vivid than that of the 'Villages' appellations. Their bouquet is elegant and powerful, dominated by red fruits. A premiers cru this Pinot Noir is concentrated and full of tannins, combining character, finesse and elegance. These wines are noted for their finesse and can be drunk while still very young. The Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret, renamed since 1945, now operates, in the purist of the burgundy tradition, a large vineyard, from the Cote de Nuits to the Cote de Beaune, from Marsannay to the south of Dijon to Puligny-Montrachet, including all the most prestigious villages of the Cote : Gevrey-Chambertin, Vougeot, Nuits Saint Georges and Savigny les Beaune.
