A fantastic blend of the imposing, balanced structure of the Barbera d'Asti Cascina Boschetto Vecchio, aged in traditional oak barrels, and the delicate flavour of an aromatic infusion based on China Calissaya, which is obtained from soaking herbs and ground spices. Batasiolo Barolo DOCG Piemonte
Colour: deep ruby-garnet that turns brick red with age Bouquet: ethereal, intense, with hints of spices and dried fruits and offers great finesse to the nose and palate. Taste: dry, full-bodied, imposing, elegant, austere but velvety. Vinification and Refinement: the vinification process consists of red wine method with long maceration on the skins for circa 15-20 days. Following the malolactic fermentation, the maturation takes place in the traditional Slavonian oak casks for up to 2 years with a third year ageing in the bottle. Area: Barolo, Serralunga d'Alba, Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d'Alba and La Morra. (6 x 75 cl)
