Aged three years in wood before bottling. Superbly dry and smooth with well finished tannins. Good Nebbiolo fruit on the nose and a pleasing sweet oakiness to the taste.
Lightish ruby to tawny red. Dry and full with rich flavours of ripe fruits, and a touch of smokiness. Ample tannins will mature for up to 20 years. (12 x 75 cl)
A fantastic blend of the imposing, balanced structure of the Barbera d'Asti Cascina Boschetto Vecchio, aged in traditional oak barrels, and the delicate flavour of an aromatic infusion based on China Calissaya, which is obtained from soaking herbs and ground spices. It should be noted that no extracts are used. This Barbera Chinato 'Boschetto Vecchio' stands out for its beautifully rounded flavour and perfect balance between sweet and sour. (6 x 50 cl)
This vineyard is situated on the Hill of the Cannubi. A deep, sometimes inky wine, with tobacco aromas. It has a great, smoky complexity and surprising finesse and suppleness for such a weighty wine. A perfect accompaniment to red meat game and cheese. Serve at room temperature. (12 x 75 cl)
Colour: deep ruby-garnet that turns brick red with age Bouquet: ethereal, intense, with hints of spices and dried fruits and offers great finesse to the nose and palate. Taste: dry, full-bodied, imposing, elegant, austere but velvety. Vinification and Refinement: the vinification process consists of red wine method with long maceration on the skins for circa 15-20 days. Following the malolactic fermentation, the maturation takes place in the traditional Slavonian oak casks for up to 2 years with a third year ageing in the bottle.
