These are Bob Berton's words to describe the wines produced from his own vineyard. 'It started as a joke. Cherie and I struggled to get our vineyard established on the the thin bony soil of High Eden, so after 5 years of big time effort, we still had vines that looked like rootlings. To ease the pain, we started calling it the 'Bonsai Vineyard'-and the name stuck.' The first crop of Shiraz has been worth waiting for. Intense, rich and full flavoured with integrated oak, this is a huge Shiraz. (12 x 75 cl)
