This first release of our unwooded Chardonnay is very intense with tropical fruit and orange blossoms. Very well balanced with up front pineapple and a zesty lime finish. Handled with absolute care and bottled early, this Chardonnay captures the fruit of the Cape. (12 x 75 cl)

An elegant bouquet of aromatic and floral tones gives way to a sweet, ripe, mulberry flavour with impressive dimensions and structure. Complex mix of sweet, mint, violet, berry and toasty vanilla make this a great Cape red. (12 x 75 cl)

Quite racy and zesty to start this dry wine then develops beautifully in the glass to deliver a balanced berry fruit flavour and sweetish taste, but with a strong crisp lime and lemon finish. (12 x 75 cl)

An Oaked Chardonnay wine with a deep golden colour. Toasted with honey, butter, vanilla and roasted almonds on the nose. Good, long lees contact gives it a smooth, creamy palate, with a long, lingering finish. (12 x 75 cl)

The bouquet has hints of vanilla and an almost oaky character. Enticing peach, apricot, lemon lead into a fruity mouthful where more tropical flavours add complexity. (12 x 75 cl)

This Babylons Toren selection Chardonnay came from low yielding vineyards producing grapes with exceptional flavours of apricot and pear. Barrel fermentation in small French oak barriques has provided the structure and nuances of almond and vanilla. Malolactic fermentation and ten months ageing on the yeast lees, has added a creamy texture and a long finish. (6 x 75 cl)

This Babylons Toren selection Viognier came from low yielding vineyards producing grapes with exceptional flavours of apricot, peach and lemon. Barrel fermentation in small French oak barriques has provided the complex nuances of cinnamon and hazelnut. Partial malolactic fermentation and six months ageing on the yeast lees has added a butterfly texture and a powerful finish. (6 x 75 cl)
