Beatrice and Jean-Michel Drouin's started as a humble supplier of wines to negociants, but began estate bottling their own wines in 1994. They are still a tiny winery with a miniscule production but now the quality of their wines is attracting serious international attention. Based in Solutre next to the famous Rock, their 6 hectares of vineyards are scattered throughout the surrounding area. They are generous, fruit-laden wines characterised by grapefruit and mineral flavours that can hold their own against much of the Cote de Beaune. With Sophisticated Chardonnay Character this wine benefits from ageing in wood. (12 x 75 cl)
Shows the incomparable finesse of the great wines of Burgundy: mineral on the nose with citrus fruit flavour to give a complex and very well-balanced wine. (6 x 75 cl)
