Its bouquet is typically intense and subtle while faintly recalling the scent of wild flowers, of acacia blossoms and of bitter almonds. Its taste is extremely elegant and full of texture. The bouquet is clearly perceivable and constant, with a scent of sage and green peppers. Its taste is dry, without harshness, lively and rich and extremely persistent. Colour: Vivid ruby red with violet reflects. Bouquet: Very characteristic, intense with violet and egriot, clean and still very vinous. Taste: Of good body and structure, slightly tannic, very long with clear sensation of violet that makes it very special. Vine: Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso in pureness. (12 x 75 cl)

This light yellow wine is produced from the Pinot Gris grape. Its bouquet is intense and lasting with a slight scent of nutmeg, peaches, and acacia blossoms. Its taste is dry, fresh, harmonious and persistent. (12 x 75 cl)

Pighin’s story begins in 1963, when brothers Luigi, Ercole and Fernando purchased a 200 hectare estate in Risano, in the Friuli Grave D.O.C. area, which belonged to a noble friulan family. Today, the company vinifies only grapes coming from its own estates at the cellars of Risano and Spessa that are equipped with the most modern and advanced technologies. The Collio vineyards used in making this wine are situated on the south facing slopes of the Gorizia hills, located on the most favourable and sunny hillsides. This Pinot Grigio is a brilliant straw yellow colour with amber reflections and a bouquet that is persistent and appealing, well pronounced, harmonious showing banana and toasted coffee. Fresh, dry, inviting and long lasting the well balanced body is harmonious, persistent, distinct and clear. (6 x 75 cl)
