Once in the winery great care is taken and finally the wine is matured for 18 months in one year old barrels. Balance and fullness characterise this deep red, almost inky coloured Shiraz. Aromas of red fruit mixed with those of blackberries, and spices show a hint of tabacco and liquorice. On the palate, the spicy side comes through showing its richness and concentration. Persistent aromas of red fruit and liquorice add an elegance to the structure built upon fine tannins.
