Three years on he is making some of the Premiere Cotes de Bordeaux most exciting wines. They are certainly at the cutting edge of the New Wave of Bordeaux wines; New World attention to fruit but still a respect for the best of the Old World traditions and terroir is proving to be an effective formula in both the Lezongars and de Roques ranges. An attractive blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon this is a deep red coloured wine with rich plum fruit and spice flavours. The ripe tannins make this a full flavoured wine showing asmooth and well rounded finish. (12 x 75 cl)
