Louis Latour Beaune 1er Cru Rouge
Domaine Louis Latour produces this wine from the two Premier Cru vineyards of Perrieres and Clos du Roi. The clay and limestone soils and the ideal aspect of these vineyards consistently produce an excellent wine year after year. The vines in these vineyards have an average age of over 40 years old which combined with the unique terroir which produces a delicately cherry scented and berry flavoured wine with a luscious palate and an ability to develop with age. Soil: Chalk-clay soil. Vinification: Open vat fermentation followed by 18 months in oak casks. (12 x 75 cl)
Louis Latour Beaune 1er Cru Vignes Franches
Les Vignes Franches is one of the best Premier Cru vineyards of the town, producing a wine that is persuasively elegant and graceful with a fragrant floral nose and yet well capable of ageing to perfection for a considerable period of time. This rich premier cru has a beautiful deep garnet sheen and a clean nose of woodspice and liquorice. With its balanced tannins and ample structure it has a fine and unctuous wine revealing some leather and gamey flavours. (12 x 75 cl)
Louis Latour Beaune Blanc AC
From the gently sloping hillside overlooking the ancient walled town of Beaune comes this classic white Burgundy from Maison Louis Latour. White Beaune accounts for only 5% of the total production from this appellation. The soil in this region is made up of chalk and limestone which suits the Chardonnay well. The unique terroir and traditional oak cask ageing produce a wine with an elegant bouquet, which is rich and thick in body displaying a generous buttery fruit character. It is well-balanced and has a crisp acidity and a long finish. Soil: Limestone and chalk. Vinification: Aged in oak casks with 100% malolactic fermentation. Clear, pale lemon-yellow in the glass, this Beaune has a delicately fruity nose with scents of apricot and minerals. The palate is fresh with crisp acidity, round structure and subtle hints of butter and lemon as well as warm alcohol that lingers (12 x 75 cl)
Louis Latour Beaune Rouge AC
The red wines that come from the vineyards surrounding the picturesque town of Beaune remain relatively undiscovered compared to its smaller, more famous neighbours. For this reason Beaune Rouge AC still represents extremely good value whilst providing an appealing introduction to the red wines of the Cote de Beaune. The wines from this section of the Appellation are full and rich with an impressive range of berry-fruit flavours and ripe tannins. Their colour is deep and concentrated with a finish that is to be savoured. Open-vat fermentation followed by 18 months in oak barrels has produced a wine with a garnet-red appearance, clean nose and expressed hints of red currants. This was reflected on the palate along with a high concentration of tannins and a brambly finish.

Louis Latour Savigny Les Beaune Rouge AC
Lying just up the hillside from the escarpment of Beaune, the vine-growing areas of Savigny-les-Beaune fall into two areas. The first is in the south adjacent to Beaune and the other is in the north bordering on the appellation of Aloxe-Corton. The wines of Savigny are very like those of Beaune, with a remarkable blackcurrant and strawberry bouquet. Soil: Iron, clay and limestone. Vinification: Traditional open vat fermentation followed by 18 months ageing in oak barrels. (12 x 75 cl)

Louis Latour Cote de Beaune Villages AC
Côte de Beaune-Villages applies exclusively to the red wine vineyards of 16 communes in the Côte de Beaune including Dezizes-Les-Maranges, Saint-Aubin and Auxey-Duresses. Maison Latour carefully selects wines that should present all the qualities of a basic Burgundy but in addition, greater character, intensity of flavour and consistency on the palate is evident. Traditional fermentation followed by 18 months in oak barrels has produced an attractive supple wine with a nose of fresh strawberries, and a good potential for ageing. (12 x 75 cl)
