Evidently, therefore, he has a great respect for the art and traditions of wine-making, and it is in this spirit that the wines of Germain and Associes are made. Using the classic bordeaux blend including Merlot and a little Cabernet Sauvignon has produced complex wines that are both smooth and supple through to the enjoyably long finish. Since the beginning of 1999, Chateau du Gaby has also begun to reclaim its reputation of old. Under new ownership and management, the property has benefited from substantial investment and redevelopment at all levels. Their mission is to make Chateau du Gaby, one of the Grands Crus of the 'Right Bank'. The vineyard is being groomed to produce the highest quality of grape. Vines are cultivated without the use of weed-killers and only organic fertilisers are utilised. A policy of 'Controlled Treatment' has been adopted to deal with disease and pests. Available in 37.5 cl Half Bottles. (24 x 37.5 cl)
