Wine is ingrained in Daniel Dampts family history. Winegrowers dating back over 150 years, his domaine has merged with that of his father-in-law's, Jean Defaix and the estate currently counts, 26 hectares of vines in production, including 13 hectares of Chablis. An additional 13 hectares of Chablis 1er Cru are also owned from which Vaillons, Fourchaume, Cote de Lechet, Les Lys and Beauroy are produced. The recently constructed cellar is equipped with stainless steel tanks combined with the purchase of modern, powerful cellar equipment has enabled the group to increase its production, because all of Daniel Dampt's wines are produced and bottled by the domaine. The Cote de Lechet is an historic terroir located on extremely steep south/south east facing slopes exposed to the sun. The vineyard is full of large round stones which retain the heat from the sun and contribute to the ripeness and roundness of the wine in the mouth. (6 x 75 cl)

The Les Lys vineyard is the oldest in Chablis and sits on top of the Vaillon slope. The 97 has rich fruit with honeyed, mango flavours, balanced by some fresh mineral tones and long, long finish.

Delicate aromas of roses, brooms, white flowers are evident while in the mouth lime and honey touches give way to a mineral finish. (6 x 75 cl)
