Smooth rich red from a blend of grapes initiated in Bordeaux works even better in the warmer climate of Chilean vineyards. Cabernet Sauvignon gives blackcurrant pastille flavours softened by plummy Merlot fruit. (12 x 75 cl)
The grapes that give rise to this wine are grown in a temperate Mediterranean climate that is privileged due to its natural characteristics. Surrounded by the Andes Mountains and with some degree of maritime influence through the converging transversal valleys makes it possible to have areas with appropriate temperatures in which grape varieties are managed according to their respective needs. Violet red in colour. On the nose, red fruit and spice aromas are detected. Gentle tannins and medium body. Fresh flavours burst on the palate. (12 x 75 cl)
The story of Santa Monica begins in the Rapel Valley, with a young man who spent his summers working on his grandfathers winery. Winemaker's Comments : Brilliant ruby red colour. An intense bouquet developed through a combination of mature red fruits and plums and vanilla tones with a fine toast from the barrels. Medium body, a fine structure and a nice ending characterise this wine.
