This wine is made up of Merlot and Pinotage varieties came from vineyards in the Gisborne region and the Malbec and Cabernet from the Hawkes Bay region. This blend of red varieties from regions in the North Island of New Zealand has produced a pleasing and attractive medium bodied red wine with impressive fruit intensity. The aroma is lightly floral and has integrated oak nuances. The palate is fruit driven and has plum and red current overtones. It finishes with light tannins and a pleasing intensity.
