The Muscat of Alexandria grapes used to make this wine were grown in northern Victoria while this wine was bottled soon after fermentation was complete. As a result this wine shows a brilliant pale yellow colour with a tinge of vibrant light green.

A delicious aromatic, floral white wine which makes an ideal aperitif to sip and savour with friends. It has a vibrant pale yellow colour with an enticingly fresh, rose petal nose with a hint of musk. The palate is light and fragrant with fresh, grapey, musky flavours kept in balance by a long, crisp, dry finish. This wine should be served chilled to heighten the crisp fresh characters which makes it such a delicious partner to a diverse range of dishes and cuisine styles. It is beautiful with a salad in an aromatic dressing especially if it includes a hint of the musky herb fennel. It is also delicious with a light Indian chicken or fish curry, Vietnamese rice paper rolls or Thai Chicken Pandan. (12 x 75 cl)
This glorious wine has magnificent rich tawny, toffee brown colour with an olive green rim, which is an indication of the use of some very old wine in the blend. It has heady aromas of ripe raisined Muscat fruit, dates, dried figs and honey that follow through to the palate, which is concentrated and luscious. The balanced raisined fruit flavours reflect the care and control over a long period to bring this Liqueur Muscat to its peak and ready for release. The combinations of excellent fruit, high quality spirit, time and care, give this great dessert wine a magnificent, rich and lasting impression. Like all wood-matured fortified wines, its ageing is complete so it can be enjoyed now. (12 x 37.5 cl)
A flavour powerhouse which bursts in the mouth and lingers on the palate, bringing aromas of orange blossom to the nose and hints of lemon zest to the palate. White flora with its nuances of ripe apricot contributes colour, texture and mouthfeel. An attractive, light, golden colour, the wine has a fragrant nose of Muscat, orange peel and mandarin with a slight zing of citrus. Harvested from early March until early April at a range of baume level 14.4 to 16.7 and bottled soon after fermentation. The wine is best enjoyed young. This luscious wine is the perfect partner to any dessert. It is also excellent at the start of a meal with duck pate. (12 x 37.5 cl)

Chenin Blanc has its origins in France's picturesque Loire Valley. The variety produces a range of deliciously fruity wines from dry whites to sparkling Methode Champenoise and dessert wines. A delicious partner to proscuitto and melon, mild curry laska or Thai green chicken curry. Alternatively it is wonderful with barbequed salmon and chilli dipping sauce. (12 x 75 cl)
The wine. Sangiovese is one of five of Brown Brothers Italian varieties. The wine has a bright cherry colour with medium intensity. The nose displays aromas of maraschino cherries, savoury characters and a hint of tobacco. Light cherry flavours compliment the savoury characters that carry through to the palate. With fine tannins and balanced acidity this wine is suited to early drinking. The grape variety. Sangiovese is a variety with its origins in Tuscany, Italy. It is the most widely planted variety in Italy and is a fairly vigorous variety with a spreading habit of growth. It is used in many wines of controlled appellation in Italy, sometimes alone, but quite often mixed with three or four other varieties. The most common of these is Chianti where 50-80% of the grapes used are Sangiovese. Technical information. The grapes for this wine were grown out our Heathcote vineyard located on the Mt Camel range, at Corop in central Victoria. The fruit was harvested in early to late March at 12.9º to 13.9º baumé. The wine received gentle handling with the use of a sweeper arm fermenter and 50% of the wine was left on skins post fermentation to modify the tannins. The wine then spent time older barriques and puncheons. It was bottled with an alcohol of 14.5%, a pH of 3.43 and an acid level of 5.7 g/L. (12 x 75 cl)
