Today, the vinification is assured by his children Luc and Christine Vernay and they now own 16 hectares undervine throughout the region. 100% Syrah from a single 1 hectare vineyard this wine is given 22 months maturation in partly new(20%) oak, while this wine can be cellared up to 15 years. Dark red coloured wine with strong blackberry, pepper, and spicy aromas. This is a complex and powerful wine with a great tannic structure, balance and plenty of fruit on a long finish.
