Domaine Cordier Vieilles Vignes Pouilly-Fuisse
A superb wine, smooth and supple with a cream-like texture. Great concentration of flavour with plenty of fruit, honeysuckle, spice and toasted oak on the palate. A full-bodied wine with a long, clean, lemony finish.

Domaine de Fussiacus Pouilly Fuisse Vieilles Vignes
Jean-Paul Paquet succeded his fater in 1978 when he inherited the 3 hectare domaine. After careful investment the domaine now accounts for 12 hectares and in 1989 Domaine de Fussiacus was created. The name Fussiacus comes from a Roman who built a villa where the village of Fuisse now stands and is considered to be Fuisse's founding father. Domaine de Fussiacus concentrates on producing Chardonnay and this Pouilly Fuisse is made from old vines . This has produced a very rich style of wine balanced by crisp acidity and a tight core of citrus and mineral flavours. (12 x 75 cl)

Domaine Des Gerbeaux Vieilles Vignes Pouilly Fuisse
Beatrice and Jean-Michel Drouin's started as a humble supplier of wines to negociants, but began estate bottling their own wines in 1994. They are still a tiny winery with a miniscule production but now the quality of their wines is attracting serious international attention. Based in Solutre next to the famous Rock, their 6 hectares of vineyards are scattered throughout the surrounding area. They are generous, fruit-laden wines characterised by grapefruit and mineral flavours that can hold their own against much of the Cote de Beaune. Full bodied and fruit laden with a judicious touch of oak this pleases with its grapefuit and mineral flavours. Showing fresh citrus and acacia, clean acidity leading to the middle palate of accessible richness that is so typical of the appellation. (12 x 75 cl)
