The wines are made from fruit grown in various of Fred Loimer’s vineyards in the Kamptal region. The wines are fermented to dryness in stainless steel and have great depth and balance, aromatic intensity, lovely definition, and a minerally raciness. They are bottled under stelvin to eliminate cork taint and preserve the pristine flavours that Loimer has captured in the wines. (12 x 75 cl)

Inviting nose of homey, beeswax and lemons. Steely at first, developing nuances on the palate, piercing vanilla type finish. With 125 acres of vineyards scattered around the small Austrian town Langenlois, Weingut Brundlmayer is one of the most important wineries in Austria. The vineyards on the hills around the town are the foundation of the estate. The best sites are in the region where the Kamp Vallet opens up like a shell towards the Danube Valley to the South. West of here lie the hills of Krems and the Wachau; Vienna and the Weinvertel are not far here to the east.Willi Brundlmayer has won numerous awards and is generally recognised as one of the finest, if not the finest, winemaker in Austria.

The LOIS Gruner Veltliner is very fresh on the nose, with zesty lemon/lime notes and a mineral hint. On the palate, the wine has lively grapefruit and white pepper flavours, good balance and a raciness which lasts through to the finish. (12 x 75 cl)
