Fermentation for 4 days in open fermenters with regular manual plunging and then closed for maceration afterwards for 24 days in total. Following malolactic the wine was racked to oak barrels for 14 months. Tasting note: deep intense colour. Classic oak flavours on the nose, the palate shows fruit intensity and soft tannins. The intensity and complex structure of this top selection from the cellar suggests optimum maturity in 5-10 years from the vintage.
