Roberto Voerzio BRUNATE Barolo DOCG from Italy, Piemonte, Barolo by Roberto Voerzio La Morra
Marchesi di Barolo Barolo DOCG Cannubi
This vineyard is situated on the Hill of the Cannubi. A deep, sometimes inky wine, with tobacco aromas. It has a great, smoky complexity and surprising finesse and suppleness for such a weighty wine. A perfect accompaniment to red meat game and cheese. Serve at room temperature. (12 x 75 cl)
Marcarini BRUNATE Barolo Piedmont
The wine has a magnificent garnet-red color with intense ruby-red reflections, of correct intensity and tonality. The nose is composite, rich, full and persistent, with hints of vanilla, sweet spices, tobacco, mountain hay and underbrush. Impressive taste sensations reveal the wine's imperious, noble, warm and velvety character, and the flavor is long and intense. (12 x 75 cl)
Vietti BRUNATE Barolo DOCG Piemonte
The tiny production from this fabled vineyard in the village of La Morra produces a wine with fullness and depth on the palate. (1 x 75 cl)
Roberto Voerzio CAPALOT Barolo Riserva
The estate, started by Giacomo Voerzio in the 1950's, has been run by his son Roberto since the 1980's and has done exceedingly well under this new regime. Considered by many to be the leading producer of the region, Roberto Voerzio is an outspoken modernist and is understandably, unabashedly proud of his own estate and techniques. Voerzio's highly concentrated wines are the result of the very low yields he enforces in the vineyard, leaving 8 buds per vine. If the summer is exceptional, it is left as is and yields little more than 1 bottle per vine, approximately 2 tons per acre. If the weather is rainy and cool in late August or early September, production is reduced. Ageing for 27 months using a combination of new, 1 and 2 year old barrique has produced a deep ruby red coloured wine. With aromas of violet, spices, marmelade of fruit raspberry, liquorice, this wine is well structured, mouth-filling, with sweet, enveloping tannins with a persistent licorice finish. Available in Magnum Bottles. (3 x 1.5 Litres)

A deep ruby-red colour wine with an aromatic nose of dried rose and truffle. The Nebbiolo exhibits flavors of ripe cherries and roses that explode with a complex and persistent roundness. This Voerzio has an extremely long finish, with granular tannins this is a wine to be savoured. (12 x 75 cl)
Roberto Voerzio ROCCE del ANNUNZIATA Barolo
Roberto Voerzio is one of the elite wine estates in Barolo, he is a man of abounding energy, which is perhaps reflected in the vibrant style of wines he produces. The epitome of new wave Barolo producers, Roberto Voerzio supple style does not forget the traditional tastes of well defined depth and body. The name of this wine reveals the fact that it is made from grapes grown on the oldest vines in the Capalot and Brunate Vineyards. The selection of grapes is so strict that one plant produces one bottle while it is aged for 24 months using a combination of new and used barrique. Deep ruby red with a strong nose of violet, spices, marmelade, raspberry and licorice. Well structured and mouth-filling, with sweet, enveloping tannins and a long finish.
