Louis Latour EN PARADIS Pouilly-Vinzelles
A wine with a lovely golden colored robe and great ampleness. You will be charmed by its ripe yellow flesh fruit aromas of mirabelle plum Already known to the Romans, Vinzelles takes its name from the latin vincella which means small vine. The distinctive feature of the village of Vinzelles is the presence of two "châteaux" separated by just a few metres: a fortified castle from the 11th century and the other from the 13th and 17th centuries. From 50 hectares of essentially South, South-East facing vineyards, the appellation of Pouilly-Vinzelles encompasses the villages of Vinzelles and Loché. Continuing from the predominantly limestone slopes of Chaintré and Fuissé, the vineyards of Pouilly-Vinzelles are exclusively planted with Chardonnay and closely resemble those wines from its neighbour Pouilly-Fuissé. Louis Latour Pouilly Vinzelles En Paradis
Vinzelles is part of the region of Mâcon South in the department of the Saône and Loire. Already known by the Romains, Vinzelles takes its name from the latin ''vincella'' which means small vine. The wines of the mâconnais have been considered ''wines of Burgundy'' since the time of Charles 6th , and the appellation of Pouilly-Vinzelles is an A.O.C. since 1940. The noble Chardonnay is particularly compatible with the clay and limestone soils and produces wines that have characteristic fruit and honey aromas. Maison Louis Latour's Pouilly-Vinzelles En Paradis is a new addition to the portfolio, and a reflection of the specific terroir of Southern Burgundy. The barest hint of wood complements citrus and juicy green notes with clean flavours that offer good freshness and a short crisp finish. (12 x 75 cl)

Louis Latour Pouilly Fuisse AC
Pouilly-Fuisse is the name of a village in the Maconnais producing highly distinctive Chardonnay wine. The vineyards producing this wine are part of a breath-taking landscape where the limestone and heavy clay soils combine to create a unique terroir. The wine shows a green-gold colour, and delicate aromas on the nose that are disarmingly seductive. On the palate there is a round and full herbal fruitiness that complements the crisp acidity leading to a satisfying finish. (12 x 75 cl)
