For several years, New Zealand has been crowned King of the World of Sauvignon Blanc, but in recent times the vignerons of the Loire have been fighting back. One of those at the forefront of the counter-attack is the dynamic Pascal Jolivet. If you've never tried any of Pascal's Sancerres or Pouilly Fumes, be assured that they are at once authentically Loire, while resolutely modern. Attitude is a new venture for him. The grapes come from vineyards within the Touraine AOC, but since Pascal chose to vinify them in his cellars in Sancerre, the wine has to settle for a vin de pays designation. Those in search of fruit will find it here in abundance: gooseberries and citrus fruit in particular. Those looking for more complex notes will find overtones of nettles, flint and minerals. The overall impression is of drinkability mixed with elegance, a very satisfying combination.' (12 x 75 cl)
Attitude has a beautiful freshness in mouth, a frank attack, delicate green and lemon flavours, citrus fruits, green apple and kiwi aromas. The minerality gives a long finish to the wine, a smoothness and elegance (12 x 37.5 cl)
