Description:
Pale-pink, with light fruit and minerals. The Cremant de Loire Rose comes wholly from Cabernet Franc that has been macerated for about 12 hours to give it its colour. The process is then the same as for Cremant de Loire brut.
A rich, earthy, sparkling wine. Our CrÉmant de Loire brut is made from a blend of 4 varieties: chenin, chardonnay, cabernet franc and grolleau. Grapes are picked by hand and are pressed softly and progressively. The wine is fermented for a second time in the bottle to obtain the fine bubbles and is then rested on lees for at least two years. It is pale yellow in colour, , the bouquet is very elegant and the taste fresh, delicate and refined. it is perfect for an aperitif as well as any celebration. (6 x 75 cl)
Jean-Marie Penet remains mayor of Oisly, but his oenologue daughter Anne-Sophie and her Burgundian husband Frederic Meurgey are now in total control. They met while studying in Beaune and they have both trained in Australia, South Africa, and previously Anne-Sophie trained with Andre Dezat. Last year they swept the board with medals in Paris and this year they did the same in Anjou. All their wines are very fine, including their sparkling (6 x 75 cl)
The Vieilles Vignes du Domaine Langlois-Chateau Saumur Blanc comes from two 1 ½ hectare plots of vines planted with chenin and aged at more than 35 years. Grapes are harvested by hand and in several goes and the juice obtained from pressing will undergo alcoholic fermentation in barrels. The wine then remains on lees in barrels for about 10 months before being bottled. Its colour is a full-bodied yellow, the nose is intense , and the mouth is ample and full-bodied. it can be kept for 10 years and we recommend you drink it with fish in sauce (6 x 75 cl)
Founded by Edouard Langlois and his wife Jeanne Chateau and run today by Michel Villedey, the Maison Langlois-Chateau has kept its family character. The Domaine Langlois-Chateau Saumur Rouge comes entirely from cabernet franc mainly harvested by hand and vinified in small vats at a controlled temperature. It has a ruby colour, a nose of intense red fruits and spices and an ample and rounded taste. (6 x 75 cl)
Sancerre blanc : the wine is made at low temperature to give it all its flavour. It has a pale yellow, its nose is intense and its taste fresh and mineral . It is extremely elegant. It goes perfectly with fish and local goat's cheese. (6 x 75 cl)
