The first wine to use the name of La Prendina was a Merlot bottled in 1980 for Gualtiero Marchesi, but it was only in 1990 that we see the wines of La Prendina sold under the name La Prendina. In the vineyard La Prendina aims to grow full flavoured concentrated grapes while the task in the cellar is to express the nature of the grape and terroir. A yellow coloured wine with good fruit on the nose and palate. This Pinot Grigio is subtle and well balanced with a very satisfying texture.
