Classic modern Italian wine with rich sour cherry, raisin and plum flavours encased in a firm chewy structure of tannin and acidity and with a long dry but fleshy finish. (6 x 75 cl)

Colsanto was recently taken over by Livon and this is an intense red coloured wine with red fruit, tobacco and spice on the nose. In the mouth it introduces powerful but soft tannins. (6 x 75 cl)

Colour Ruby red tending to garnet. Aroma The intense olfactory impact is fruity with notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, raspberry jam. Flavour Medium sweet, definitely warm with excellent persistence. Good body and density in the structure, enfolding, well-balanced tannin content. Pleasant finish. (6 x 37.5 cl)

Colour Deep ruby red tending to garnet. Aroma Highly intense olfactory impact and persistence; a direct, fruity wine recalling notes of blackberry, red fruit jam, morello cherry, forest fruits; a slightly spicy finish. Flavour Dry, warm but tannic, quite fresh, with decisive body. The extract content gives density, and is tannic and robust but elegant. The finish is extremely persistent and has a perfect nose-flavour balance. The wine has excellent possibilities for ageing in bottles for 5 -10 years (6 x 75 cl)

Montefalco Rosso Riserva is the result of years of in-depth research studies carried out by the Arnauldo Caprai winery to find the best growing conditions and wine-making techniques for the production of this elegant Sangiovese based wine. This wine proves that a noble variety such as Sangiovese can yield great qualitative results in Umbria too. Soft, elegant, with silky tannins and a lingering aftertaste, it shows notes of wild berries and spices beautifully brought together in a harmonious whole. The vinification process includes a prolonged period of fermentation and maceration , in order to achieve the best and most complete extraction of phenolics. After racking, the wine remains in stainless steel tanks for about 4 months. It is then aged in Large Slavonian and French Oak barrels for over 20 months. The wine has a ruby red with bright purple reflections colour and a fully developed nose with notes of intense wild berries and spices, well-balanced with a delicate aroma of vanilla. Full and well structured, long and harmoniously balanced this wine tastes superb. (6 x 75 cl)
