This Barbera has an intense ruby colour with garnet reflections. The bouquet is distinguished and vital, with fresh, ripe fruit. The palate is clear and definite, with long and pleasant finish. IThe grapes come from selected vineyards in the villages of Monforte and Castiglione Falletto and from grapes in Pio Cesare own vineyards in the villages of Serralunga and Treiso. The grapes undergo very careful selection to eliminate all imperfections (6 x 75 cl)

Vinification: traditional red wine method long maceration on the skins for 8 (6 x 75 cl)

A Barbera with a deep violet-ruby red colour, Brichet has an intense, varied bouquet revealing winy hints of fresh red fruit, blueberry and prune that blend into the gentle notes of spices and coffee that are released by just the right amount of Ageing in wood . Conforming perfectly to the bouquet, the flavour is strikingly fresh and savoury, and is complemented by a forceful structure that does not conceal the balanced, yet palpable acidity and tannin content. The finale is tasty and pleasantly persistent. (6 x 75 cl)

Colour: intense ruby red with garnet reflections. Bouquet: delicate, with a ripe fruit scent which harmonises well with the aromatic notes from the wood. Taste: warm, full and harmonious, delivering the typical freshness of Barbera. Vinification and Refinement: pressing of the grapes is followed by alcoholic fermentation with maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks for 10 to 12 days. In the spring, the wine is transferred into oak barrels where it matures for 12 to 15 months. After careful sampling, the wine is assembled into the final product and bottled. Refinement in the bottle lasts another 8 to 10 months before reaching its optimal qualities. Area: La Morra, Monforte d'Alba and Barolo (6 x 75 cl)

Roberto Voerzio is one of the elite wine estates in Barolo, he is a man of abounding energy, which is perhaps reflected in the vibrant style of wines he produces. The epitome of new wave Barolo producers, Roberto Voerzio supple style does not forget the traditional tastes of well defined depth and body. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barriques, 1/3 of which are new, and then spends 6 months in tank before bottling. This is a produced a dark, deep purpley in colour. Ripe and wonderfully balanced with smoke, meat and berry character, it is a very chewy, intense and full-bodied wine with polished tannins and a long, rich finish. Available in Magnum bottles.
