This vineyard is situated on the Hill of the Cannubi. A deep, sometimes inky wine, with tobacco aromas. It has a great, smoky complexity and surprising finesse and suppleness for such a weighty wine. A perfect accompaniment to red meat game and cheese. Serve at room temperature. (12 x 75 cl)

The Estate was owned until 1990 by the Pira family who sold the estate to Chiara Boschis. She now produces between 5000 and 7000 cases per year. A Barolo with a deep red hue with aromas of Spice and red fruits. The Palate is a balance of fruit and good acidity, blending in a good tannic structure and strong earthy, fruit driven finish. The 2000 vintage is beautifully silky and refined, with fantastic cherry, mineral and raspberry character. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long, amazing finish. (1 x 1.5 Litres)
