Colin Glaetzer established Glaetzer wines in the Barossa in 1995. Colin had previously made some of the finest wines in the Barossa, including the renowned E & E Black Pepper Shiraz and Ebenezer range of wines. The wines have great concentration and complexity, with none of the over-ripe character that can mark some Australian wines. The fruit has a natural intensity of flavour. Bishop Shiraz shares many qualities with its 'big brother' Glaetzer Shiraz. This full-bodied wine is made redominantly from 30 to 60-year-old vines at Ebenezer and always contains material from the oldest 80-year-old vines. It is made from fruit components which are more up-front and generous (6 x 75 cl)

A firm structure of ripe and supple tannins provide support to lashings of blackcurrant and nutmeg. The tannin structure and sheer fruit weight of the wine will enable long-term cellaring. (6 x 75 cl)
