Description:
Intensely fruity aromas deriving from the union of the two grape varieties. On the palate well-structured and velvety with a finish that strongly reflects its aromas.
Pale golden in colour with gold reflexes. On the nose is fruity with clean varietal character and good vanilla flavour. On the palate is soft and well balanced, with an excellent structure. (6 x 75 cl)
This is a very rare wine in that it is a 50-50 blend of Sangiovese and the local Canaiolo variety. Terrine is named after the vineyard where the old Canaiolo vines were growing and is full bodied but with a lovely, softer rich finish. " This is a sexy red wine (6 x 75 cl)
Nearly all Sangiovese, with a touch of Caniolo, this deep red coloured wine is showing a firm ripeness, depth of flavour as well as a touch of cherries on the finish. (6 x 75 cl)
Single vineyard. Selected from the cream of the vineyards this wine has a concentrated nose with a weight and richness one expects from the best Classico. (6 x 75 cl)
Single vineyard. Selected from the cream of the vineyards this wine has a concentrated nose with a weight and richness one expects from the best Classico. Torre a Destra, literally ‘tower to the right’, is now the name of Castello della Paneretta’s Riserva wine. This estate has a high % of old sangiovese vines which give the wines an excellent structure. The 22ha. of vineyards are on the western edge of the Chianti Classico district and part of a larger estate of about 309ha, most of which is woodland. This wine is developing the growing trend in the region for optimising the local grapes, rather than using French imports, and then using modern vinification and ageing methods to produce the best wine possible.
