As the youngest co-operative winery in the South Tyrol, set in an area where wine-growing has had a long tradition, the Cantina Produttori Valle Isarco winery has become synonymous with premium white wines. However, the actual upswing of wine-growing in Eisacktal occurred with the founding of the Eisacktal Kellerei Klausen EKK in 1961. There are ideal conditions for white grape types in the Valle Isarco where the climate and topography bequeaths the wines their unique and distinctive character, while the inclination and height of slopes helps.
