The 120 hectare Greppone Mazzi estate produces Ruffino's Brunello di Montalcino, it is located east of the small town of Montalcino, in the heart of the historical Brunello production area. With its altitude of 450-500 meters above sea level, this is the most elevated part of the hill which constitutes the DOCG of Montalcino. This area is known as 'dei Greppi' because of its landscape formed by steep, rugged hills. Thanks to its almost unlimited longevity and flavour complexity, the Brunello di Montalcino Greppone Mazzi is truly a special wine. The golden star which shines on the Greppone Mazzi label is a symbol of the priviliged position which this wine holds within Ruffino's portfolio (6 x 75 cl)

In June 2000, the Folonaris decided to officially divide their wine holdings. As a result, Ruffino is now owned by two brothers, Marco and Paolo Folonari, and their sons. Their leadership has freshly infused the Ruffino brand. A ruby red coloured Sangiovese with an appealing aroma of soft fruit, fresh Morello Cherry and Casis. Torgaio is fresh and fragrant on the palate, well structured with surprising length reminiscent of ripe fruit and red liquorice. (12 x 75 cl)
