Domaine Gramenon VIE ON Y EST Cotes du Rhone
Located not far from the village of Vinsobres owner Michele Laurent makes some of the most beautiful and compelling Rhone wines. Made with gloriously ripe fruit and bottled by hand without fining or filtration, many of the cuvees are also bottled without the addition of any sulphur in order to keep the yeasts and microflora alive. This is non-interventionist, minimalist wine-making par excellence. Viognier showing luscious pollen-dusted fruit, scents of warm brioche and yoghurt. (6 x 75 cl)

Kingston Estate ESTATE Shiraz South Australia
Jam and plum flavours dominate with just a hint of black pepper spice. The result is a wine displaying an amazing deep crimson colour,a wonderful bouquet and a ric h but smooth complexity of integrated flavours. The palate is underpinned by the enhancement of maturation in French and American oak.The finish is clean with firm tannins. Shiraz epitomises Australian red wine.It is a variety which can grow successfully in many regions providing warm, ric h and spicy flavours. This vintage was predominantly sourced from South Australia 's Riverland and Langhorne Creek regions. (12 x 75 cl)
Kingston Estate ESTATE Sauvignon Blanc South Australia
Kingston Estate Wines has grown rapidly since Sarantos and Constantina Moularadellis first developed their 40 acre vineyard in 1979 in South Australia's Riverland wine region. Today, Kingston is the 10th largest wine producer in Australia and remains one of Australia's largest family-owned wineries. The grapes for this wine were sourced from selected vineyards along the Limestone Coast and Adelaide Hills, cool-climate regions ideally suited to Sauvignon Blanc. Only the free-run juice was used to minimize phenolic content and fermentation temperature was carefully controlled to ensure maximum retention of varietal characters. This has produced a pale yellow coloured wine with green tinges, the nose is unmistakably Sauvignon Blanc with pungent herbaceous fruit characters of tomato leaves, lantana and capsicum. The herbaceous characters continue onto the palate where they are complexed by pineapple and passion fruit, tropical fruit flavours. A racy acid backbone gives this wine a lip-smacking finish. (12 x 75 cl)
Kingston Estate ESTATE Cabernet Sauvignon South Eastern Australia
The colour is deep with bright brick red hues.A lifted blackcurrent fruit boquet is evident with further complexity emerging from the developed chocolate and licorice flavours. The wine was matured predominately in French oak but with some American oak also utilised.Following fermentation in both static and rotary fermenters.Free run juice was kept 8-9 months in wood. From this firm soft tannins have added to the structure and weight to the wine resulted in displaying the delightful varietal characteristics on the palate. (12 x 75 cl)
Kingston Estate EMINENT Petit Verdot South Eastern Australia
Kingston Estate Wines has grown rapidly since Sarantos and Constantina Moularadellis first developed their 40 acre vineyard in 1979 in South Australia's Riverland wine region. Today, Kingston is the 10th largest wine producer in Australia and remains one of Australia's largest family-owned wineries. Echelon showcases the limited release varietal wines from South Australia, considered by Kingston's winemaker as the pinnacle of each vintage. Only parcels displaying exceptional fruit vibrancy and intensity of flavour make the final selection. Sourced from various South Australian premium regions, the wines are assessed not only for their youthful qualities, but an ability to develop their full potential with further bottle maturation. The Petit Verdot grapes were sourced predominantly from South Australia 's Riverland with a small portion included from the Clare Valley and Langhorne Creek. Petit Verdot is particularly well suited to the Riverland 's warm climate where it ripens fully each year, yet retains lean tannins and good natural acidity. Once harvested only the light pressings were combined with the free run juice to produce this wine. The wines were left to settle for 7-14 days and then 75% was racked to new ,one year old and older American and French oak barrels for 12 months maturation. This is a bright red/purple coloured wine with good depth, while the bouquet is complex with subtle vanillin and spicy oak Characters. Opulent and lingering with intense blueberry and violets layered with spicy oak characters over a silky tannin backbone. It is a seductive wine offering intense sweet berry primary fruit flavours layered with complexity gained from time in oak. Limited Availability. (12 x 75 cl)
