The maturing is conducted in the traditional manner for about 18 months, 80% in oak barrels, a third of which is renewed every year, and 20% in vats. Château Garraud possesses great elegance and a red color that evolve into a deep orange-red. It releases a bouquet of varied aromas, especially red fruits. Grapes are hand picked and manually sorted as the winery strives to improve grape quality with each new vintage.
