Light, velvety, ruby-garnet in colour with an attractive and open nose giving scents of cherries and redcurrants, backed by subtle nuances of wood and eucalyptus. The palate is distinctive and round with rich plum and smokey flavours balanced by soft, well-integrated tannins and a lingering aftertaste of tobacco and spice. (6 x 75 cl)
The Baron Nathaniel Pauillac has an intense, deep red colouring with aromas that express dark blackcurrant fruits. Touches of tobacco and chocolate on the nose. The tannins are fine and mature giving the wine an elegant structure. When Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild, a member of the English branch of the Rothschild family, purchased Pauillac's Chateau Brane-Mouton in 1853, he founded what would become a Bordeaux powerhouse. Classified in 1855 as a second growth , it would take almost 120 years to gain back what arguably should have been Mouton's in the first place (6 x 75 cl)
