From several vineyards this Zinfandel benefits from 80 year old vines in the Lodi vineyard while Central Coast vineyard fruit add further complexity. This deep red coloured Zinfandel is showing vibrant fruit while the toasty oak character is not over powering through the careful use barrel ageing. (6 x 75 cl)

Monterey County is quickly emerging as one of the best places in California to grow and produce Chardonnay.The region consistently rewards wine lovers with bright acidity, delicious tropical fruit flavors and creamy textures. Three vineyards provided the majority of the Chardonnay fruit including Terra Ventosa and Vina del Rey in Monterey County, near King City and Castle Coastal Vineyard in the cool Arroyo Seco region of Monterey County. The cool climate and well-drained soils of the Terra Ventosa Vineyard provide ideal conditions for growing Chardonnay, while Vina del Ray Vineyard, also a relatively cool area, produces Chardonnay with ripe citrus and floral aromas while maintaining nice acidity. After harvest, each vineyard lot was individually pressed; then 60% of the blend was cold-tank fermented to preserve the wine's natural vibrancy. Approximately, 40% was barrel fermented to add a layer of creamy complexity to the final blend. The wine was then aged in one-to-three-year-old American and French oak barrels to give the wine a nice toasty note on the finish. This Blackstone Monterey County Chardonnay shows aromas of light tropical fruit, lemon citrus with a touch of mineral notes and pleasing oak.This bright, well-balanced wine has a long, lingering finish. The Zinfandel grape ripens to perfection in the warm sunny climate of the North Central Valley. After traditional maceration and vinification, part of the blend is matured in contact with oak to allow the wine to soften and develop complexity. (12 x 75 cl)

A soft easy drinking Cabernet Sauvignon from California’s northern Central Valley. Full of ripe, blackcurranty fruit flavours and rounded tannins with a very subtle hint of vanilla from partial oak ageing (12 x 75 cl)

The rapidly increasing popularity of Pinot Grigio has lead to a significant expansion in the plantings in California’s northern Central Valley. The grapes, once crushed are fermented in stainless steel tanks and the wine is bottled early to preserve the freshness and fruit. A ripe easy drinking wine with excellent mouthfeel. (12 x 75 cl)

The bouquet is rather exuberant with berry fruit and a hint of chocolate. To taste it is warm, soft and mild with impressions of oak, caramel, tobacco and berry fruit. The finish is round, and soft. (6 x 75 cl)
