Chateau de Seuil Cerons
In the style of Sauternes, Cerons produces some very good late harvested botrytised dessert wines. The Chateau de Seuil Cerons has remarkable body and softness. When enjoyed young it has good acidity with fruity, floral savours. However, it also ages extremely well and reveals its true potential only after long bottle age (12 x 50 cl)

Chateau du Seuil Graves
Welsh owner Bob Watts, has enthusiastically adopted new world techniques, making approachable, fruit driven wine. (24 x 37.5 cl)
Chateau du Seuil Graves
Welsh owner Bob Watts, has enthusiastically adopted new world techniques, making approachable, fruit driven wine. The wines from this appellation take their name from the river gravel that covers the entire plateau. This gravel is combined with sand, clay and limestone which all contribute to the uniqueness of the Graves and the characteristic minerality which is expressed in the wines. The Château du Seuil Graves red wine is made from a blend of 50%Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. The different varities are fermented individually in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, then pressed and passed into barrels to undertake malolactic fermentation. The resulting wines are fruity, well balanced with integrated oak flavours and firm round tannins. Additionally, in recent years the wine has developed the peppery characteristics of a classic Graves red. The finished wine is aged in oak for up to 18 month prior to bottling. It is pleasing on the palate, fresh with a complex aftertaste. Delicious to drink now but can be stored for up to 10 years. (12 x 75 cl)

Chateau du Seuil Graves AC
Welsh owner Bob Watts, has enthusiastically adopted new world techniques, making approachable, fruit driven wine. The Chateaux Du Seuil vines are planted on a south-facing slope over looking the Garonne river next to the medieval village of Rions. There are 10.0 hectares with some of the vines up to 80 years old and yields are kept low reflecting a preference for higher quality grapes with greater intensity of flavour at harvest time. The Vineyards are planted with approximately 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. The vineyards are predominantly gravelly slopes, ensuring excellent drainage. The small amount of clay present between the pebbles constitutes just enough water heat of summer. The red grapes are hand and machine picked, these are left to ferment on their skins for 15 days under temperature controlled conditions in stainless steel tanks and then some of the wine is aged in oak. The Oak aged wine is then re-blended prior to bottling to add greater complexity to the wine. Bottled for approximately 9 months after the vintage to retain all the fresh fruity flavours and aromas .The wine is fruity with soft integrated tannins giving a long fine aftertaste. (12 x 75 cl)

Emphasis is upon ripe fruit at harvest time and consequently the bouquet is strong and full of character with a deep, intense colour that takes on a brick-red tinge with age. The wines are ready for drinking immediately but will store for at least 5-8 years. (12 x 75 cl)
