Very expressive and full of gooseberry fruit flavours. The bouquet is grassy and clean with a lovely racy, sweetish fruit flavour in the finish, one of the best in the appellation. (12 x 75 cl)

Beaujolais in style with the similar juicy crunchy flavours of peaches and damsons, but quite light in character with a firmer finish from being made in a more northerly region. Fresh and deliciously grapey. (12 x 75 cl)

Jean-Marie Penet remains mayor of Oisly, but his oenologue daughter Anne-Sophie and her Burgundian husband Frederic Meurgey are now in total control. They met while studying in Beaune and they have both trained in Australia, South Africa, and previously Anne-Sophie trained with Andre Dezat. Last year they swept the board with medals in Paris and this year they did the same in Anjou. All their wines are very fine, including their sparkling (12 x 75 cl)

Organic, vegetarian. A Sauvignon with attitude! Unusually up-front with charming tropical fruit notes of apricot and mango, and soft sweet hints in the mouth, tempered by good acidity. Bronze Medal, Concours Vins Bios 2000. (12 x 75 cl)

Sweet, perfumed, red berry fruit on the nose, vibrant red cherry and blueberry fruit and lovely freshness on the palate, yet also good concentration for a Gamay. It has lovely purity, is silky smooth, concentrated but not heavy. (6 x 75 cl)

Sauvignon of extraordinary character; crisp dry with gooseberry fruit. Better than many a Sancerre or Pouilly Fume. (12 x 75 cl)
