The Shiraz fruit comes from the Chinese Block vineyard which is located in the Willunga district at the southern end of McLaren Vale and once in the winery it will spend 16 months is French and American Oak. Keeping well within the tradition of the GAM style the nose displays masses of ripe plums, spicy aromatic herbs and lifted freshness. The palate is slightly tighter than the previous vintages, reflective of the slow and evening growing season. Mitolo Wines is a family owned business, established in 1999.
