The river Ebro flows through La Rioja from West to East and it is right in the middle of its course, passing through the city of Logrono that Bodegas Olarra is situated. A place where nature and man join forces to produce truly outstanding wines. Founded in 1973 by a group of notable businessmen who, as great lovers of Rioja wine and appreciative of quality, took the decision to produce the best Rioja wine on the market. Thanks to a perfect combination of traditional methods and the most advanced technology, Olarra has attracted some of the best wine making talent in Rioja producing wines with their own identity. Wine Description: 45% Tempranillo, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% others. A powerful full-bodied wine with predominant fruity aromas. Delicious rich notes of toasted wood and spices with ripe fruit tones. Well structured and round with a pleasant lingering raspberry aftertaste. Aged for 3 months in oak (12 x 75 cl)

Mesta Tinto has been made with Tempranillo grapes from the Fontana vinyards and once in the winery the fruit was frmented at low temperatures to keep all the aromas. A deep and bright ruby coloured wine showing a fruit driven nose with enticing aromas of ripe red berry fruits. In mouth there are ripe and chewy tannins that are concentrated, firm while there is good persistence on the finish. (12 x 75 cl)

This Macabeo was mecannically harvested during night time and fermented at low temperature, to keep all its aromas. The result is a wine showing a good pale colour and aromatic fruity nose, with pineapple and citrus flavours. Crispy with a good acidity it is a juicy, light and refreshing wine. (12 x 75 cl)

Mesta rosado has been made with Tempranillo grapes from the Fontana vinyards and once in the winery the fruit was frmented at low temperatures to keep all the aromas. The result is a beautiful cherry red coloured wine showing fruit-driven aromas of cherry and raspberry. Ripe rich fruit are evident in the mouth with strawberry and raspberry hints, finishing smooth and persistent. (12 x 75 cl)

Pretty pale yellow straw coloured wine with greenish alimonados reflexes. Aromas of fresh fruit are evident while there are nuances aniseed. In the mouth is dry, tasty and well balanced, presenting a fresh acidity through to the finish. (12 x 75 cl)
