This wine is a beautiful yellow with golden highlights. The bubbles are both lively and long-lasting. On the nose, there is an immediate freshness and great finesse. However, this lovely bouquet of fresh fruit softens to a more delicate aroma of sweet pastries, cream and almonds with a hint of spice and balsam. On the palate, this is a lovely wine with a nice firmness and a wonderful balance. The flavour of fresh fruit is overlaid with honey. This is a refined and harmonious wine that is ideal served as an aperitif, but with just a few more months maturity, it will be a perfect accompaniment to delicate fish dishes and seafood. Golden-yellow, with a foaming necklace of tiny bubbles. Pleasing to the nose; initially reminiscent of white fruits and raisins, then of vanilla, and later of biscuits. A fine balance between the younger, fruity wines and the older, toasty wines, which makes up the final assembly. Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label manages to reconcile two opposing factors, forcefulness and finesse, and to hold them in perfect balance. This consistent power to please, makes it ideal as an aperitif, and perfect as the Champagne to enjoy with a meal. (1 x 9 Litres)
