Deep ruby and cherry red in colour. The palate is rich, warming and velverrrrt with good acidity and fine tannins. The vanilla from the oak is beautifully married with the raspberry fruit from the Tempranillo producing a fine, rich complex palate with a good length (6 x 75 cl)

Bright, lively cherry red with subtle hints of youthful violet. Wonderful and aromatic with ripe, dark fruit notes complemented by woodland berries. It is full and powerful on the palate with ripe fine tannins which will hold the wine in balance for many years. It is complex and full, balanced and elegant. (6 x 75 cl)

Few Rioja bodegas hold and then have available for sale, exceptional old vintages in extended maturation. CVNE is an exception. These are very rare wines, of exceptional quality. At a Christie's auction in late 2000, some of these, and even older vintages came under the hammer. Following a pre-auction tasting, the auction bidding was fast and furious, with no lot being left unsold. (3 x 75 cl)

Bright ruby red with a good colour structure. Extremely elegant on the nose, balancing mature fine fruit with toasty spicey notes from the oak. On the palate it is rich, structured and complex with fine rounded tannins balancing the ripe fruit. This is a fine wine, complex and long on the palate and finish, showing great aging potentional but drinkable now. (6 x 75 cl)

This is Cune's flagship wine which, despite spending 16 months in new French oak, does not hold a 'Reserva' or 'Gran Reserva' designation.
