Olivier Merlin TERROIR de FUISSE Pouilly Fuisse
Often the richest of Olivier Merlin's three cuvees of Pouilly Fuissé, the Terroir de Fuissé this year benefits from a fine thread of minerality which makes this a vigorous, energetic, racy white Burgundy as well as one with a really impressive depth of flavour. The oak ageing is perfectly judged too. (6 x 75 cl)

Domaine de Fussiacus Pouilly Fuisse Vieilles Vignes
Jean-Paul Paquet succeded his fater in 1978 when he inherited the 3 hectare domaine. After careful investment the domaine now accounts for 12 hectares and in 1989 Domaine de Fussiacus was created. The name Fussiacus comes from a Roman who built a villa where the village of Fuisse now stands and is considered to be Fuisse's founding father. Domaine de Fussiacus concentrates on producing Chardonnay and this Pouilly Fuisse is made from old vines . This has produced a very rich style of wine balanced by crisp acidity and a tight core of citrus and mineral flavours. (12 x 75 cl)
