With the arrival of Jonathan Maltus in the 90's this 18th century estate has benefited from new world enthusiasm and technology. Highly rated, the wines are more approachable in style with a real purity of fruit. This vintage has more Cabernet Franc, 25% to balance the ripness of the Merlot in this very hot year. Intense, ripe red berry fruit are complemented by some good crunchy mineral character and well-integrated tannin. (12 x 75 cl)
