Beautifully seductive oak aged red from 100% Tinto Fino, which is a local clone of Tempranillo. Lovely spicy vanilla oak mingles perfectly with soft, ripe red fruit. (12 x 75 cl)

A very deep, dark garnet red in colour, with concentrated aromas of dark fruit and spices with mineral and fruity notes against a backdrop of subtle toasty notes of chocolate and coffee. On the palate it is oily and unctuous, elegant and mineral with fine tasty tannins while notes of ripe fruit are evident. A powerful wine with a bold character and finish. Grandes Bodegas were founded in 1985 and their vineyards form one of the best and most modern estates in Ribera del Duero. The red wines from this bodega have a much more fruit driven style than Rioja, although they are made from a strain of Tempranillo called Tinto Fino. (12 x 75 cl)
