Manfredi purchased the estate in 1958 and worked on it throughout his life until he died in 1982 when his son Florio took over. Adopting many biodynamic methods and hand picking the fruit, great care is taken from the vineyard to the winery. After spending about 10 months in Slovonian oak this deep dark Sangiovese wine is showing good dark fruit aromas that develop on the palate and through to the good finish.
