This cuvee is produced from a selection of very old vines from the village of Chavignol, growing on the famous 'Cote des Monts Damnes'. Low yields assure an optimum concentration of the wine without loss of balance and once in the winery gravity use throughout the winemaking optimises the excellence of the raw material. Throughout the maturation, the wine is stirred twice weekly which helps to become rich and unctuous. Ripe fruit aromas, spice, and light vanilla tones accompany a roundness and amazing length on the palate. (12 x 75 cl)
