Four generations have been dedicated to the cultivation of their vineyards and organic methods have been adopted. The bodega is situated in Cuzcurrita de Rio Tiron, on the northwestern edge of Rioja and since 1975 the bodega has aged and bottle their own wine in order to retain the special characteristics of a small single estate. 95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano and Mazuelo, this wine comes from the best grapes of the Estate, all of them from vineyards over 20 years old. It has remained 12 months in new oak and 12 months in seven years old oak then it spent 12 months in bottle before it is released. Dark ruby colour with amber glints it is showing savoury vanilla oak bouquet. Elegant, attractive sweet middle palate with very good concentrated ripe fruit culminating in excellent length it is both classy and complex.
