From 30 year old vines in this 30 ha estate comes a wine made from 67% Touriga Nacional, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Aragonez and 11% Alicante Bouschet. Great care is taken from the vineyard to the winery and the handpicked grapes are selected by hand, then undergo cold pre-fermentation, fermentation in wooden fermenters, and spend 24 months barrel ageing in new French oak, finally bottling without filtration and fining. Deep, saturated purple-coloured wine with an intense nose showing notes of flowers, black fruits, gaining complexity with ventilation. On the dense and concentrated palate sweet fruit extract dominate, while the complex tannic structure culminates in a long elegant finish. Limited Availability. (6 x 75 cl)

Made exclusively from selected grapes hand picked at optimum maturity the Cortes de Cima vineyards once in the winery it is fermented without stems, followed by extended skin maceration to enhance varietal fruit characters, and to provide tannin structure and balance. Aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels, and then blended to give balanced varietal fruit and oak components. finally, it is bottled, unfined and filtered Impressive depth of colour. A deep crimson red colour with an intense aroma of ripe red berries, cherries and liquorice coupled with subtle hints of cinnamon and cedar oak. A full-bodied wine displaying redcurrant, floral, dark cherry and stewed plum fruit flavours enhanced by vanillin oak. A rich mid palate with a balanced firm tannin structure is followed by a long persistent finish. (12 x 75 cl)

Made from 100% Aragonez grapes this is a richly coloured red, with fragrant, lifted fruit aromas. Beautifully balanced, ripe, flavoursome and complex. Very satisfying and long. (6 x 75 cl)

From a 30 ha estate with vines aged between 7 and 30 years old, comes a wine made from a blend of 36% Tempranillo, or as it is locally called Aragonez, 32% Trincadeira, 17% Alicante Bouschet and 15% Periquita. The Hand-picked grapes are then selected, also by hand, and are fermentated in stainless steel fermenters tanks with 3/4 weeks skin contact. Next malolactic fermentation in barrels takes place for 24 month in 65% new French oak finally the wine is bottled without filtration. A dark purple coloured wine showing an intense nose of red fruit combined with fine toast. In the mouth the fresh and compact structure compliment the sweet, ripe and spicy fruit leading to a long finish. (6 x 75 cl)
