The nose is chocolate, tobacco and leather. Very complex and rich, red fruits, spices, olives and lots of fruits. Very harmonious and well balanced. Very long length with chestnut flavours. A great year (1 x 75 cl)
Bright, even tawny red browning at rim. Much more austere on the nose than the preceding wines, tangy with underlying oak. Much fuller than the nose suggests, with sweet, creamy, mouthfilling flavours of chestnuts, cedar, coffee and plums. High acidity levels and a long, dry tannic finish make this a candidate for roasted meats. Very good. (12 x 75 cl)
The rather volatile, mature flavours of Lebanon's finest wine are not what you might expect but this has all the complexity and lasting qualities of a great Claret. (12 x 75 cl)
