A great Barbera wine showing a deep ruby red colour with elegant garnet highlights on ageing. The noses is vinous, typically varietal and ample while it is a powerful red, with stuffing and lots of body, well-balanced, round, packed with character and slightly tannic.

A great Barbera wine showing a deep ruby red colour with elegant garnet highlights on ageing. Today, the family still run this well respected winery producing great wines that are a real reflection of the region. The Santo Stefano hill in Perno, in the commune of Monforte d'Alba is where the Nebbiolo grapes are grown and once in the winery the wine is matured in medium-sized Slavonian oak barrels for around 36 months. The result is a garnet red coloured wine with orange-coloured highlights. The nose is very fruity, elegant, intense and gives way to an excellent body with power and stuffing and can be characterised by the full, well-balanced style. (6 x 75 cl)

This Nebbiolo wine is matured in medium-sized Slavonian oak barrels for around 14 months and is a garnet red colour with purplish highlights. The nose is showing a fruity aroma of ripe grapes, vinous, intense, varietal while on the palate it is dry, round, well-bodied as well as tannic. (12 x 75 cl)

The Nebbiolo fruit come from the Monprivato vineyard in the village of Castiglione Falletto. Once in the winery the estate-grown bunches thinned during the summer undergo traditional-style, floating cap fermentation for 20/25 days. The wine is then matured in medium-sized Slavonian oak barrels for around 38 months. Garnet red colour with orange-coloured highlights, the nose is complex, very fruity, elegant, intense, spicy, with flowery sensations. Excellent body with power and stuffing this is a demanding wine, masculine, long and full. (6 x 75 cl)
