Chateau Rozier Grand Cru St-Emilion

Chateau Rozier is a 23-hectare family-owned right bank estate which produces traditional Saint Emilion from vines which are on average 45 years old. Grapes are manually harvested and owner Jean-Bernard Saby and his two sons are all oenologists who take great pride in the wines they produce. It is classified as a St Emilion Grand Cru. The vineyard consists of plots in 4 different communes and the wine is typically a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and the wines are matured in oak barriques for 12 months. (12 x 75 cl)

Chateau Rozier is a family owned and run 23-hectare estate headed by Jean-Bernard Saby and supported by his two sons. All oenologists, they take great pride in the Grand Cru classification wines they produce on this estate. The hand harvested wines are made from vines with an average of 45 years old and spend 12 months in new and used Oak barrels. This wine is a blend dominated by Merlot with a little Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is a dark garnet colour and is showing dark forrest fruit aromas of berries, plum, black currant and hints of oak. The rich forrest fruit aromas follow through onto the palate and provide good balance as well as structure to support the great finish.
